What it does
Multiple avatars
Every message and entry is attributed to whoever is writing. Add custom properties, notes, and group avatars into subsystems.
Channels & folders
Organize conversations and logs by topic. An "All Messages" view lets you read across all channels in one place, filtered by avatar.
Front tracking
Log who's fronting and see the trends over time.
Structured logs
Track emotions, body sensations, safety, medications, or anything else in user-defined tracker tables. View summary reports.
Full-text search
FTS5-powered search across all messages. Filter by avatar, channel, or date range.
Import from Simply Plural
Bring your existing SP data over. Members, groups, channels, chat history, front logs — all of it.
Local only
No account. No cloud. No telemetry. Your data lives in a SQLCipher-encrypted database on your machine.
Yours to keep
Export everything to a documented JSON format at any time. Back up with one click. Open the database with any SQLite browser — you don't need DS-Journal to read your own data.
